asthma

asthma is a young Polish rapper hailing from Bielsko-Biała. After beginning his career with English-language tracks, he released his Polish-language debut Centrala in 2020, distinguishing himself from the scene in advance with his unambiguously egalitarian, socially engaged lyricism; following its success, he signed a contract with Def Jam Poland. asthma combines lyrics about abuses of power, establishment indifference and the climate catastrophe with jazzy, old-school beats – playing with a live rhythm section at live shows. He has played at major Polish festivals, including OFF, Męskie Granie and Great September; his resume also includes two studio albums, the latest of which is 2023's Nowe życie.
