Antonín Brinda

Antonín Brinda (*1990), originally from Czech Republic, is an artist based in Tallinn (EE). Antonín works primarily in fields of performance/live art, urban art and theatre. He is also a theoretician and organizer/curator of art events.

After studying in Brno and Prague (BA in General Art Theory, BA in Film Studies and BA in Site-specific Performance) Antonín moved to Helsinki in order to take part in the Live Art and Performance Studies programme. In Helsinki he is exploring areas such as traveling, urbanism, long durational performances or body art. Antonín is a co-founder and a co-organizer of the multigenre Kůra festival in Kutná Hora (CZ) and the annual performance art event Wärmflasche in Berlin (DE).
