Antigama
Warsaw band Antigama is a living legend of the grindcore, independent and broadly defined extreme music scenes. It was founded in 2000 by guitarist Sebastian Rokicki (Different State, Garden of Worm), who recorded Antigama's first album Intellect Made Us Blind in 2002, with Łukasz Myszkowski (Sparagmos) on vocals and Mac Moretti (Starzy Singers, Mały Szu) on bass. Since then, the line-up has constantly fluctuated, with Rokicki remaining the sole constant member; nevertheless, Antigama recorded nine studio albums and a number of smaller releases and splits, played with Napalm Death, Nasum, Enemy Soil or Agoraphobic Nosebleed and released on the cult Relapse Records, making a name for themselves as the most important Polish grindcore band.
