This year's lecture cycle organized by Kruh is dedicated to the Flemish, Walloon and Brussels Architecture, which is currently one of the most progressive in Europe. During 7 evenings 11 ateliers will be introduced. Last lecture from the spring cycle Belgian Inspiration will present Xaveer De Geyter and NU architectuuratelier.

In his lecture, Xaveer will present XDGA’s approach towards urbanism and architecture, by showing a selection of recent projects and competitions. XDGA is an internationally oriented Brussels based office practicing architecture, urbanism and landscape design. During the twenty years of its existence, XDGA has taken part in a large number of international competitions that allowed the office to build up a varied and multi-scaled portfolio. The office currently numbers a total of 55 collaborators of 10 different nationalities and is present in both Brussels and Paris.

NU architectuuratelie is a working platform for intense architecture and design research, led by Armand Eeckels and Halewijn Lievens. NU has the ambition to develop spatial, material and landscape interventions in strong interaction with the clients. NU aims at contributing in a qualitative way to our social, spatial and mental environment. With a large variety of realised and valued projects, the profound approach to architecture has resulted in a series of unique projects. NU strives for tactile, essential architecture by combining large and small scale projects, thus upgrading functional expectations to inspiration. The lecture will be focused on pluralistic approach, hence the title Pluralism.

The lecture is in English with Czech translation.
