Ana Carla Maza
Young singer, songwriter and cello player. She was born and grew up in Cuba, in a family of jazz pianist Carlos Maza. She was only 10 when she performed along with her father at the Havana Jazz Festival. Her career gained momentum after she had moved to Paris and started working with brilliant cellist Vincent Segal. Her debut EP Alma was recorded in between performances across the world and her studies at the Sorbonne. It’s a vivid and sophisticated pop with Latino sensitivity and abundance of “live” instruments, including the artist’s beloved cello.
