Alyssa Edwards is a Texan drag queen.
Alyssa began her career in drag pageantry, winning titles such as Miss Gay USofA and Miss Gay Texas America. In 2012, she joined season five of RuPaul's Drag Race, where she became instantly famous for her candid testimonials, outrageous tongue-pops and quirky personality. Four years later, she returned to the show, placing 4th in the second edition of RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars.
Her persona has been hailed by The Times as 'the scathing queen above queens' and she has established herself on stages in North America, Europe, Asia, Central America and South America. Johnson also teaches dance in her hometown of Mesquite, a suburb of Dallas, where she runs the Beyond Belief Dance Company dance studio.
