Alexander Hacke and Danielle de Picciotto have been creating a truly unique duo for years, combining different aesthetics and musical styles. Their work, moreover, goes beyond the category of music itself, because the artists draw their inspiration from literature, visual arts, poetry, as well as sounds and images taken directly from the world of nature. In fact, each of them is a true legend today in the sphere of independent European culture.

Danielle is an American who settled in Berlin in 1987, where a real breakthrough and artistic revolution took place, which was about to take over the city. Apart from using the violin and the piano, she is also famous for her virtuoso playing sophisticated, original instruments, such as the crank lyre or the chord zither. For years she has been active in many bands, such as Crime and the City Solution or Space Cowboys, she was also one of the people who created the first Berlin editions of Love Parade. Alexander is known primarily as a bass player and one of the founders of the cult group Einstürzende Neubauten. His latest album is Menetekel.
