4+4 Days in Motion
The 4+4 Days in Motion festival / Sites of Action project will celebrate its thirtieth anniversary in 2025 and brings a new concept to South Town - an opportunity to slow down, stop and create conditions for collaboration and cultivation of a space and its environment.
The exhibition projects will focus on the present and history of South Town, as well as artistic, participatory and educational projects for children and youth. The Galaxie halls and their surroundings will become the centre of a programme that will offer thematic exhibitions, international theatre and dance companies, residencies with public performances, performances, site-specific projects, lectures, walks, interventions and community activities responding thematically to the location of the South Town. The aim is to work more intensively with one place and its inhabitants and to offer a programme that is lacking in the cultural offer.
