Żywiołak is a band combining such genres as folk, heavy-folk, metal, biometal, folk metal, hard-folk or ambient. The performers themselves suggest that their music should be described as "Polish neo-folk music", since the inspiration for Żywiołak's lyrics draws on pre-Christian rituals, legends and legends.
