Zamek Piastowski w Raciborzu

The Piast Castle is an old castle, whose origins are not fully known. It is the most precious medieval monument in Silesia. The building preserved to our times is a result of many reconstructions, made throughout many centuries, thus it is a peculiar mix of architectural styles. One of the most valuable objects in the castle is the Chapel of St. Thomas Becket of Canterbury, called the pearl of Silesian Gothic. The Raciborski castle and it's chapel can be visited every day, it hosts a number of events.
