Paulina Pawlak, a clinical psychologist, will talk about what manipulation is, when it becomes really dangerous and how to defend against it. The lecture will distinguish manipulation from lying and persuasion, discuss selected techniques of manipulation, discuss it in the context of language and find out who is susceptible to it and how to defend oneself from it.
