Window Magic

Window Magic is the name of the ambient/tape music project of Andreas Bonkowski. Andreas was born in East-Berlin in the early 80s behind the iron curtain and grew up with primitive tape decks and am/fm radios always on his bedside. As he states himself, he was immediately drawn very early on to the incomparable magic of recording and editing music on cassettes. What started with self-made imaginative radio shows and new edits of favorite songs developed into a form of natural expression, a part of vocabulary, of his own communication.
