Fez Wrecker
Fez Wecker is a Louisiana-born, Berlin-based singer, musician and showman who co-produces and hosts the infamous Pinky's Peepshow and many other burlesque events all over Europe.
He founded the Junkyard Jugband in late 2011, primarily as a vehicle for performing tawdry numbers and songs co-written with April Walz (Runaway Brides) in burlesque shows. His idea was to have an organic orchestra using mainly acoustic instruments and multi-voice harmonies. The influences of the Junkyard Jugband are rooted in Americana, folk, blues, punk and vaudeville.
He has been playing in different bands since 1983, combining his sundry influences of beat, goth, garage, art rock, love punk and psychedelic in performance and production, including guest performances with The Music Machine and The Fuzztones.
