Chris Hanke

For his music, Berlin-based DJ and producer Chris Hanke finds inspiration in everyday commodities: delicious food, a glass of wine or a captured moment in Berlin’s infamous nightlife. He absorbs the sounds, experiments with them, pushing the back and forth, and creates high quality music. This process results in his unique style that can be classified somewhere between groovy house music and techno but nevertheless contains traces of ambient, jazz and classical music. Time is an important factor for Chris when creating his unique sounds. Spending weeks on producing his sounds and hours for his sets, he bestows honor to his music. People from all over the world have heard his music which has been published by the renowned Ritter Butzke Studio label and Aromamusic. On both labels and with his DJ-Sets he has proven that his distinctive sound is far apart the mainstream.
