Honza Křížek
Honza Křížek is a Czech singer, composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer who has been involved in music since childhood. After graduating from the conservatory, together with his brother, he founded one of the most popular crossover bands of the 90s, Walk Choc Ice, which performed in concerts of such musical greats as Rage Against The Machine, Faith No More, David Bowie, Robert Plant and Jimmy Page. After the end of the band's activity, Honza Křížek continued as a solo artist, collaborating on a number of musical projects with Czech and foreign personalities and groups, including Ivan Král, David Koller, Miro Žbirka and Radim Hladík (Blue Effect). As a composer, he participated in the theatre performance Tales from an Old Book by the Matěj and Mirka Kopecký Theatre, and composed and recorded music for the feature-length documentary film by Adolf Zika - The Golden Man from Rio and The Story of a Man about Robert Van. He also makes his living as a composer of music for commercials and producer. In 2017, his first solo album, simply titled Honza Křížek, was released on Supraphon.
