The Aleksander Węgierka Drama Theatre in Białystok is the only facility of its kind in the Podlaskie Voivodeship. The largest stage of the Theatre will host even 500 spectators.

The Theatre's repertoire includes propositions for audiences with high artistic requirements, touching upon the problems of the contemporary world and man, as well as those seeking humour and entertainment on a good level. The Dramatic Theatre also has an offer for young audiences: adaptations of classic literature items for children and stagings of contemporary fairy tales.
