Drawing on a rich, multi-cultural upbringing in her native France, the young singer spent years in Montpellier, recording emotive Soul before turning her hand to underground dance music. Arriving in the public realm with 2015’s Bold, a collaboration alongside Keinemusik’s David Mayer, she continued to explore a driving variant of Deep House; percussive, tribal and inextricably linked to a childhood spent listening to her father’s record collection, which paired George Clinton with St. Germain and original Madagascan music.
