Skalpel - Polish jazz nu duo created by Marcin Cichy and Igor Pudło. Both are DJs and record producers. They started to create together in 2000, and in 2004 they signed a contract with the British label Ninja Tune. The music they create is a combination of what is traditional and modern. To create their own songs, they use mainly Polish jazz from the 60s and 70s, giving it a completely new sound. In 2006 the group was awarded the Passport of Polityka
