Sitartronic

Sitartronic is a solo project of Tomasz Orszulak – a Wroclaw-based musician, composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist specializing in string instruments. Using a traditional Indian instrument – sitar, he is inspired by classical Indian music, but also tries to place it in the context of other musical genres. He expands the sound base of the instrument with electronic processing and looping possibilities. In concert terms, the electric guitars and the Turkish non-threshold cümbüş also play an equal role. The more strings on board, the better.
