Serce Miasta
Serce Miasta (The Heart of the City) is an emerging place of systemic help for people in the crisis of homelessness. It is to be a space for those who want to help and those who need it. A space for action in the spirit of community, equality and good of all of us. The space, currently under renovation, in the courtyard on November 11th will be a place of professional workshops, a catering kitchen, with Internet access, legal and medical assistance and offering necessary furniture and clothes. As a result of the outbreak of the pandemic, help was needed immediately and the Heart of the City quickly began to attract hundreds of people a day from the start of giving out meals and clothes. The program that the Heart of the City will implement is based on the concept of Housing First and Finnish programs successfully implemented since the 1980s.
