Rydlówka

A historic manor house where, on 20 November 1900, the wedding of poet Lucjan Rydel and peasant Jadwiga Mikołajczykówna, which was the inspiration for The Wedding by Stanisław Wyspiański, took place. Rydlówka has housed a museum since 1969, which until 2014 was run by the Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society. The Historical Museum of the City of Kraków took over custody of the museum in 2016. The reopening of Rydlówka, already as a branch of the Museum, took place on 20 November 2018.
