Roy Einar Dreng, Gerrard & Olsen
The original band of Roy Einar Dreng, a Norwegian folk singer-songwriter based in Poland who has devoted much of his career to the work of Bob Dylan; he was the leader of the cover band BobBand, created the My Dylan Your Dylan project on behalf of the Stavern Literature Festival, and has repeatedly taken part in the Dylan Festival in Beitostølen and in shows dedicated to Dylan's 70th and 75th birthdays at the Rockefeller and Parkteatret stages in Oslo. With his band, which is completed by Scottish violinist Ronnie Gerrard and double bassist Asbjørn P. Olsen, he has recorded two albums— Middle of the Night (2016) and Awareness (2021).
