The Gdańsk Main Town Hall—currently a branch of the Gdańsk Museum—is located at the junction of Długa Street and Długi Targ Street, in the center of the city's scenic Old Town. The origins of the building date back to the late Middle Ages. From the mid-14th century until 1921 it was the seat of the city authorities. The Gothic-Renaissance building houses one of the most beautiful Renaissance halls in Northern Europe. In the summer, from the top of the 80-metre-high tower, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Gdańsk.
