The anecdote contained in the fairy tale shows how with cunning and combination one can achieve a fortune and the hand of a beautiful princess at the same time. But is this what the author wanted to tell us? Be dishonest because it always pays off?...probably not. So let's take a closer look at the case. A young miller is bequeathed a Cat. He quickly realises that this Cat is talking, and not only that, it is talking a lot of sense. The Cat is special, wants the best for its master, even sees him as prince material. Of course, he already has a plan, as part of which he will have to lie a little and even eat someone. But what is not to be done to achieve such a noble goal, after all, it is always better to be a prince's cat than a miller's...although there will be those who like the fat and radiant mice from the mill better than the lean and cold ones from the castle. Right?

In this original adaptation, the fairy tale characters surprisingly fit the realities of the modern world. We are amusingly introduced to the dreamy life of the millers, the atmosphere of the court and finally the intrigue of Puss in Boots, who dreams of a princely crown for his master. Where does cleverness end and deceit begin? A brave look at the ambiguous reality of the fairytale world. Excellent stage movement (Puss in Boots is played by a woman), witty songs and humour that will have children and adults alike laughing. The colourful, cubist decorations and costumes, devoid of literalism, will set the audience's imagination in motion.
