Petr Yac
Petr Yac is a producer living on the border of Poland and Germany. An avid lover of musical deconstruction, a lover of delay and reverb. One of the most recognized Polish creators of deep electronic music from the sign of noise and dub, pushing the listener into oblivion, hiding somewhere on the edge of techno, drones and other sound extremes. From early work on desconstructive mixes, sticking together hundreds of sounds from various sources (like Versions – a mix containing 769 samples enclosed in just 35 minutes) to his own productions for instabil, minicromusic, dym records and Don't Sit on my Vinyl, on which Yac consistently develops his noisy, unrealistic sound. In the meantime, together with Tomek Karczewski a.k.a. [77] he leads the dub duo Normal Bias, which has so far released two albums on vinyl by U Know Me Records.
