Peak & Swift
Peak was raised in the mountains of Eastern Saxonia, where he grew up in the club and rave scene and picked up the art of DJing at the tender age of 15. Today, he has made himself a name in Berlin's urban jungle.
Swift comes from Southern Germany hand had spent a big part of his childhood in Istanbul and Kolkata. He came to Berlin around 2000 and teamed up with Peak.
The duo merged their musical interests of house, disco, deep and dubby techno into their own trademark sound, aiming to warm the cold soundscape of the city up a little.
They found their home at Salon zur Wilden Renate, where Peak today holds the position of the head booker and Swift takes care about artworks and bookings. They have helped the club to grow into a renowned underground hotspot, boasting excellent house, techno and disco lineups every week. On top they are the founders of the conjoined label Renate Schallplatten.
