Patryk Zakrocki
Musician, improviser, composer, sound artist born in 1974 in Warsaw. Currently, he plays in the duet of SzaZa and with guitarist Marcin Olak, on violin or viola, oscillator and electric mbira, he changes melodies in old music boxes and co-creates two unique projects of his own idea: Cabinet of Internal Ear Massage and Cinema of Sound. Patryk Zakrocki deals with chamber music, electroacoustic music and widely understood radio play. He conducts improvisation groups and improvises and composes himself. He has published 12 albums, including two solo albums. He is the author of music for theater and feature films, animated, documentary, short and silent performances. Among the latter were student etudes by Roman Polański, experimental films by Themersons and puppet animations of Władysław Starewicz. The original soundtrack written for paintings, apart from numerous shows in Europe, has been presented so far in the United States, Iceland, Uruguay, China and Japan.
