CTM Festival 2019: Eartheater + Gazelle Twin + More

Eartheater captivates with a very own approach to sound and with an expressive performance. She will pursue her concert during this CTM night at Berghain together with a harpist. Gazelle Twin introduces her newest album Pastoral. In the shape of a diabolic buffoon she formulates a corrosive critic of the contemporary conditions in England, followed by another world premiere: Lotic's new audiovisual live show Endless Power which she created in collaboration with the artist Emmanuel Biard. Prison Religion channel anger, doubt, shock and abysmal happiness into radical, noisy music, connecting metal, hardcore, industrial and techno. After thirty years in the business rave pioneer Miss Djax is often rightly called the "Queen of Acid". The night at the Berghain floor is completed by an uncompromising techno set by Reka as well as by Nonplus fro Manila, who will open the night with an eclectic DJ set.

At Panorama Bar Riobamba, DJ Haram, Juba and Sara Fumaça and Foresta offer a broad spectrum of international hybrid club sounds. Mina combines UK funky, dancehall, afrobeats and other syncopic beats with vocals by MC Bryte from Ghana. In between, Kai Whiston presents his grim and dark but at the same time extremely creative productions in a live set.

Säule is fully dedicated to noise in this night. During the Initiative Nusasonic the program presents artists from South East Asia and Europe. On board are Nguyen Hong Giang from Hanoi, Rambo from Manila, the Indonesian brutal noise pioneer Sodadosa as well as Lintang Radittya and Andreas Siagian from Yogyakarta, who will perform together with the Berlin-based American Peter Kirn. C-drík comes from Berlin as well, intensively contributing to the global networking of different noise scenes as teh head of the Syphre label. The audience can also be excited about a radical performance of the British artist AJA. Zanias, co-founder of the body music collective Fleisch, will bring the guests through the evening.
