Paloma Colombe

Paloma Colombe is a French-Algerian DJ and documentary filmmaker whose work aims to build bridges between the two cultures. Like her nomadic ancestors, she finds her inspiration while travelling. In "Radio Amazigh", her regular show at Le Mellotron in Paris, she tells the story of her Berber origins with music and interviews. Her music is exported to clubs to festivals abroad, where she shares the stage with Omar Souleyman, Khidja, Mehmet Aslan and Habibi Funk. Her sets are a mix of irresistibly dancing percussive rhythms and electronic nuggets from all over the world. A polyrhythmic trance that takes us on a journey to Africa, the Maghreb, the Middle East and Latin America.
