Muzeum Geologiczne

Geological Museum in Łódź is a museum based in Łódź, operating within the Faculty of Geographical Sciences of the University of Lodz. The museum is located in a building adjacent to the Faculty (Collegium Geographicum). The museum was opened in May 2000. His name is dr. Jan Ziomek - geologist, founder and head of the institution for many years. As part of the museum exhibition, the following permanent exhibitions are presented: World of minerals, The building and decorative stone in architecture, The nature of Łódź and the Łódź region, Crystals in nature and technology.
