MuFo Józefitów
The former headquarters of the Krakow Museum of Photography (MuFo), which underwent a major refurbishment between 2018 and 2020. During the renovation, a seven-storey building was constructed on an adjacent parcel of land to house modern storage facilities and the specialist studios were equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. No exhibitions are presented in the Józefitów MuFo, and tours are only possible with a guide by prior booking. During guided tours, visitors can see how the museum works and the journey museum objects take from the moment they are included in the collection to the moment they are presented in an exhibition. The visit is a unique opportunity to visit state-of-the-art conservation or digitisation workshops.
