Mazovian Museum in Płock – Ten Centuries of Płock Branch
The 10th Centuries of Płock branch of the Mazovian Museum in Płock is located in a separate wing of the tenement house at 8 Tumska St. On three floors, it presents a permanent exhibition devoted to the thousand-year history of Płock. Tradition is combined here with technology – the exhibits are accompanied by multimedia, the aim of which is to make the history of the city more attractive to visitors to the exhibition and to give them maximum content in an accessible and modern form. One of the most important elements of the exhibition is a model of Płock from around 1800, with an area of 40 m2 and accompanying light and sound. It is one of the largest and most unique mock-ups presented in Polish museums.
