Mark Turner
Born in Ohio, Mark Turner grew up in Southern California surrounded by music. For two decades, Mark Turner is one of the most important places in the world of contemporary jazz. In 2013, he started a new, exciting phase of creative work-cooperation with new musicians at a completely new projects and recordings, in both configurations, in which he performed as a leader, as well as in other musicians-pianist Stefan Bollani, Gilad Hekselmana, pianist Babtiste Trotignona, or in a Quartet, Billy Hart, with whom Turner has been on for a decade, and which has already two albums. Continues his work as a member of the formation of the Fly, together with bassist Larry Grenadier and drummer Jeff Ballard.
