Marcin Pospieszalski

Marcin Pospieszalski is a Polish bassist, multi-instrumentalist, he also plays the violin, viola, dulcimer and keyboard. He has cooperated with many bands, including Tie Break, Michał Urbaniak's group 2 Tm 2,3, Soyka Yanina & Kompania, Arka Noego, Deus Meus, New Life'M, or Zakopower. He has written music for many films, among others, Demony Wojny według Goi, Prawo ojca. The artist is the music producer of the albums of Anna Maria Jopek, Mietek Szcześniak, Antonina Krzysztoń or the band Raz, dwa, trzy. His activity in this field has been appreciated many times by music circles awarding him Fryderyki in the category "Music Producer of the Year" (in 1998, 1999, 2000 and in 2003 together with Rafał Paczkowski for the album Trudno nie wierzyć w nic by the band Raz, dwa, trzy). He delves into the music of the Polish countryside, drawing on and learning "at the source". He learned traditional violin playing from such masters as Władysław Pogoda from Kolbuszowa, Jan Gaca from Przystałowice and Adam Tarnowski. He is also a music director, arranger, sometimes co-author and author of scripts of great concerts - TV shows combining different musical worlds (among others, the concert "Debiuty" based on songs with lyrics by Wojciech Młynarski during the Opole Festival in 2008, "Jasna Góra – Polska Kana" show on the 300th anniversary of the coronation of the image of Our Lady at Jasna Góra – 2017, "Wsłuchiwać się w Papieża" 2019, "Santo Subito" 2020).
