The half acted, half documentary story film depicts the tales of five people from the former East block countries (Slovakia, Russia, Bulgaria, Latvia and Hungary) as seen through the eyes of a film unit. Since the fall of the communist regime, these countries have gone through developments to which the protagonists react – and not always positively.
