The Hanged Man

Musical direction of The Hanged Man has Rebecka Rolfart (Those Dancing Days, Vulkano) Since 2013 the band has been playing their eerily beautiful pop music – a tightrope walk between sorrow, strength, pain, power, magic and fantasy. The songs come from the furthest secret corner of the heart and are presented to this world in the finest garb. The four-piece band includes Dennis Egberth (drums, percussion), Elias Jungqvist (synthesizers), Mattias Gustavsson (bass, backing vocals) and Rebecka Rolfart (bass, guitar, vocals).

In November 2014, the first mini album First Quarter Moon was released followed by the cassette Lord Have Mercy in January 2016, both released via Kning Disk. Then in September 2017, the debut album Of Blood is Full was released via Dubious Records. Of Blood is Full was recorded in northern Italy at an old winery, Palazzo Stabile, by Max-Måns Wikman. All members of the band are well known in the Swedish music scene and play in bands like Dugen, Saigon, side effects and Second Oracle. In 2022 the band released the album Tear it All.
