Rodriguez Jr.'s renowned releases for labels such as Mothership, Boxer Records and Giant Wheels have put a face to the idiosyncratic melodies of his bass house hit Princess Guacamole for Mobilee records and the tropical techno of Kids of Hula for sister label Leena Music.
His talents are not limited to the dance floor. When fashion brands Hugo Boss and Gucci were looking for a fresher, more urban and organic identity, they called Mateu to produce their music for the project.
