Pocta Zuzaně Navarové
“We try to play the songs as accurate as possible. Zuzka’s work is immortal and the concerts are always very emotional, both for us and the audience. We perform every concert with great humility. "
The band Pocta Zuzaně Navarové was formed in 2017 from the original band Jazz Elements which was active on the Czech scene since 2015. At one of their concerts they decided to play a few songs from Nerez and Koa and the concert was such a success that after some time they decided to continue as Pocta Zuzaně Navarové. They play songs by Nerez and Koa with a six-member line-up led by Barbora Červinková, who manages to evoke a whole range of emotions in people with her speech and sings Zuzana Navarová's songs with emotion and humility. The band is made up of professional musicians who also all sing, creating harmonies for which Nerez was famous. The concerts are very interactive, the audience sings the whole time and at the end of the concert they also dance.
Guitars are played by Tomáš Pecka and Standa Šedivý, drums by Tonda Jína, trumpet and percussion by Nick Arthofer and fretless bass by Honza Neruda.
