Manni Dee
Originally from Wolverhampton, England, Manveer Dheensa (aka Manni Dee) grew up focusing on music. He attended a music course at Dudley College before moving to Brighton, where he studied Creative Music Production at university. Dee's first release came in 2010 in the form of the glitchy, trip-hop and electronica-influenced Fluxus EP. Subsequent EPs Antidote and Superposition, released in 2011, followed a similar path, this time using bass and electronica straight out of Planet Mu. Although Dee grew up with a penchant for indie and dance music, he began to gravitate towards the techno sound laid down by fellow Midlanders Regis and Surgeon. He's released music on Perc Trax, Possession, S.L.A.M. and Tresor, he runs the Silk + Steel party series at London's Fold and is a resident on the city's Rinse FM radio.
