Ba:zel

Ba:zel is an electro-acoustic project based in Prague formed in 2014. It features piano, flute, heavy bass, a fragile soprano, and post-techno/dub/grime beats. Members include Ewelina Chiu (vocals, piano, synthesizer, flute) and Daniel Vlcek (beats, synthesizers, bass guitar/vocals). The debut album Eye draw(s) the line (2016) provoked a variety of labels including “frosty minimalism (Beehype), electro- nightmare pop (Alterecho)” or “music for sleep-deprived ravers (180 AM Collective).”
