Konkret is the alias of Berlin based dj and audio engineer, Oliver Raunjak. Hailing from Graz to Berlin four years ago, Konkret passionately started collecting vinyls from the surrounded record shops of his neighborhood in Kreuzberg who helped to shape his distinctive, forward-thinking sound. The very beginnings took place at various open deck events and after a while of self-development he got to play at infamous clubs like Tresor, About Blank and Griessmühle. Apart from his audio engineering studies he runs the monthly radioshow "The Sanctum Radioshow" on munich based Radio 80000, showcasing electronic music with no boundaries.
His DJ sets are described as futuristic and energetic on a foundational functionality, influenced by a nostalgia for old school techno of New York and Birmingham.
