After an unfortunate cancellation of the spring part of the tour, which also included Warsaw, Xiu Xiu will return to Poland's capital for a concert as part of the Distorted Festival.

Today the adjective "cult" has worn out and lost its meaning, and few bands apart from Xiu Xiu fully embody the term. Founded in 2002, the band became a vehicle for uncompromising and uncomfortably personal music of multi-interumentalist Jamie Stewart residing in Los Angeles and the entourage of his collaborators, both studio and performing with him live. During this time Xiu Xiu has gained a large group of fascinated fans all over the world, for whom this name is means more than music. Dark, sometimes even extreme image of the band and original approach to constructing tracks (post-punk, avant-pop, electronics or noise are all present influences) made the band recognizable all over the world, at the same time keeping consistently on the sidelines and following their own path. Xiu Xiu will return to Poland to promote their latest work – Girl with Basket of Fruit. It's a return to more brutal sounds in comparison to the predecessor, i.e. Forget from 2017. The album is full of tension, sadness and anger.
