The only concert of Sirenia in Poland. The Norwegian band will play in Warsaw on the 13th of March 2019.

Sirenia was founded by Morten Veland in January 2001. His work was already well known to listeners thanks to his work in the band Tristania, of which he was a co-founder in the mid-1990s. Being the main author of Tristania's works, from a certain point of view he defined the gothic metal of that period. Sirenia was supposed to bring the standards of this genre to a higher level. To this day Sirenia has released 8 albums, EPs and several singles. Their albums have been featured on charts in six countries, receiving excellent reviews all over the world. The latest album Arcane Astral Aeons was released on 26 October 2018 thanks to Napalm Records. Sirenia has performed in Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia and Australia, performing at the biggest festivals alongside such stars as Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden, Aerosmith, Korn and others.

Sirenia sounds like a combination of gothic metal and rock with a classical orchestra, as well as some more extreme forms of metal music. Their sound takes its solid foundations from powerful drums and bass supported by heavy rhythmic guitars and atmospheric keyboards. The whole is seasoned with melancholic violin and 12-string guitars. The music is melodious and full of groove. The styles of vocals are diverse – they consist of female voices, choirs, roars, screams, pure male singing, whispers and samples. The songs are very intense and dynamic. The lyrics are based on reflections on life, death, love, hatred, paranoia, anxiety and depression.
