Leprous + Klone + Maraton

The excellent progmetal formation Leprous was founded in 2001 in the small Norwegian town of Notodden. He comes from the leader of the legendary Emperor Ihsahn, with whom progemtal musicians have often collaborated. From the beginning, Leprous's main driving forces are vocalist Einar Solberg and guitarist Tor Oddmund Suhrke. Leprous means fantastic skills, original composition ideas as well as a unique atmosphere of songs and musicians' erudition. Because although the Norwegian band is included in progmetal, it draws inspiration, even from metal, symphonic and alternative rock. Norwegians make great use of orchestrations and modern electronics. They like and are able to experiment, what can be heard on each of the previously released CDs. Leprous has been stable since 2017 and, along with two leaders, is complemented by: capital drummer Baard Kolstad, bassist Simen Børven and second guitarist Robin Ognedal.
