Kalevala + Bloody Tyrant + Runika
Another folk metal night. This time Kalevala, one of the leaders of the Russian folk metal scene, will perform. Founded in late spring 2007 by Ksenia Markevich and Nikita Andrianova. Their music is sometimes inspired by the Middle Ages and fundamental instruments used in European music for hundreds of years. Runika - a Warsaw-based band with a charismatic female vocal, playing folk inspired melodies in a strong metal setting. On stage, he combines mysticism with the energy of four elements, bringing listeners to the times of epic battles, lush feasts by the buyable fire, mysteries enchanted in statues and unusual creatures hiding in the forest. Bloody Tyrant from Nantou (Taiwan) was established in 2008. He plays a mix of black & folk metal. In addition to the regular guitar/bass/percussion configuration, the sound of pip instruments gives them a unique sound, and the vocal is a cherry on the cake. Unlike fast and aggressive metal, Bloody Tyrant's style is more sophisticated and poetic.
