After the huge success of the concerts in 2016, which met with an excellent reception of the fans, Jaromír Nohavica returns to Stodoła. The Czech singer, lyricist and poet will perform at the club twice, on May 31st and June 1st. The songs of Nohavica have a very diverse character. Among them, there are both poetic, thoughtful ballads as well as cheerful, even frivolous songs. The work of the artist, who lives on the borderland of cultures in Cieszyn Silesia, is also permeated with Polish accents, Nohavica speaks Polish fluently. He performs some songs, especially at concerts, in Polish.

Although he released his first album in 1988, his first studio project was the 1993 album Mikimauzoleum. It became one of the most popular Czech music releases. Karel Plíhal created innovative arrangements for the time. Another studio project Dziwny wiek received the Czech Grammy for the album of 1996. In 2009, a double album Świat według Nohavicy, with songs by the author in Polish translations and performances by Polish artists was released. At the beginning of 2013, his song Minulost (in Czech) was on the first place on the hit list of Polish Radio III and stayed there for several weeks. In 2017, the singer released an album entitled Poruba, which, just after the premiere, gained many positive reviews and recognition on the Internet. The artist's concerts are very popular in Poland and the concert halls are completely filled.
