Zach Condon, creator of Beirut, released his fifth studio album "Gallipoli" in February. On this occasion he gives concerts all over the world, also including Poland during the tour.

Beirut, whose creator is the multi-instrumentalist Zach Condon, draws from music from all over the world. The artist has created a project in which he combines various musical genres – from classic and alternative rock, through electronics and psychedelia, to gypsy and Balkan rhythms. In an astonishingly unique way he moves around many styles. On February 1, 2019 the new album Gallipoli had its premiere. The 12 track album began life in the winter of 2016 when Condon returned to playing on his old Farfisa organ – the same ones on which he made his first two albums Gulag Orkiestra and The Flying Club Cup.

After recording in New York and Berlin, Condon settled in a studio complex located in a deeply rural part of Apulia, in southern Italy. It was here that he rediscovered the joy of old musical experiences, which became the basis of Gallipoli. Whether Beirut was inspired by Balkan or French folk, Mexican troubadour music or folk melodies, Zach Condon is behind a truly unique and one of a kind project.
