Jola Sip
A charismatic singer, composer, songwriter and co-founder of the Lublin Bards' Federation. She started her first steps on the big stage with Marek Andrzejewski in the show "Kraina Łagodności" during the XXXII National Festival of Polish Songs Opole '95. A year later, she won the most prestigious literary song contests in the country, singing songs by Jan Kondrak. The culmination of these successes was Jola Sip's participation in the "Hits of the Winners" show at the XXXIII National Festival of Polish Song Opole '96, where she performed together with the biggest stars of the Polish stage (including Edyta Geppert, Grzegorz Turnau, Varius Manx, Edyta Górniak, Kasia Kowalska, Edyta Bartosiewicz, Kayah, Anita Lipnicka). The artist has been cooperating for over 20 years in the legendary band Lubelska Federacja Bardów. He has been a co-founder of the LFB since the formation's inception (1999), and together they have recorded 12 albums. She also has solo releases to her credit in the form of the album And Beyond... The artist was invited by Włodek Pawlik, winner of the 2014 Grammy Award, to a show prepared by the Stary Theatre in Lublin – the show Wieczorem, which culminated in the recording of the album. She puts her name to a group of talented musicians with whom she creates her solo project Sip.
