John Paul II Garden

The John Paul II Garden in Inwałd is a facility presenting probably the largest blooming image of Karol Wojtyła in the world. A 96-stair climb to the very top of a viewing tower allows visitors to see the image "painted" with thousands of bushes, trees and flowers. Almost 20,000 appropriately selected plants: trees, shrubs, flowers and tons of stones, gravel and aggregate were needed to create the painting. It can also be seen up close: a walk through the Garden's 8 km of alleyways will allow visitors to admire the individual elements of the entire painting, but also to see photographs depicting the path to sainthood of the Polish Pope, or to learn about stories from his life.
