Ida
Ida is a Finnish DJ and promoter based in Glasgow, UK. Launched in 2015, Ida’s Acid Flash parties have quickly become one of the most exciting fixtures on Scotland’s club circuit.
The artist grew up in Helsinki's outskirts before studying in Sweden, Aberdeen and Glasgow, where she currently lives.
Ida Koskunken has a very special take on 80s Chicago acid house. Her refreshingly unique celebration of acid beats has found a home at her Acid Flash party series at The Tunnels, Aberdeen's most prominent night club, where she invited artists such as Heidi, the iconic Glasgow duo Slam and rising techno star Courtesy. Later, Ida expanded the event series to Edinburgh and Glasgow, finding its new home at Glasgow's underground hotspot Cheetah Club.
Ida takes the audience on an acid-inspired journey through various sounds from techno to ghetto house, old school electro and ambient, establishing herself as a sought-after artist in the British club scene.
